We are one of the founding members of the St Louis Independent Booksellers Alliance.

Main Street Books, Left Bank Books, Subterranean Books, The Book House, All on the Same Page, and a growing number of locally-owned independent bookstores in the St. Louis area announce the formation of a new alliance. St. Louis Independent Bookstore Alliance will address the literary needs of St. Louisans by providing unique content specific to St. Louis readers, special literary events, and a collaborative atmosphere that benefits the St. Louis community. The mission of St. Louis Independent Bookstore Alliance (www.stlindiebook.com) is to provide St. Louis with a wide variety of independent bookstores, each specializing in their own passion for books, staffed by expert booksellers and stocked with the most amazing books; to support the creative and literary efforts in our city; to share our love of knowledge and storytelling; to not only keep up with the times, but to stay ahead of the curve so that our customers get the best service, the best events, and books that fill their souls. It will advocate in a variety of ways on issues that affect independent bookstores. Launched on Facebook (www.facebook.com/stlindiebook) on Tuesday, February 15, the group gained over 150 “likes” in its first day online. St. Louis Independent Bookstore Alliance's website will provide a monthly list of St. Louis Bestsellers, a shared calendar of literary events, a city-wide reading group, videos and blogs about books and news in bookselling, resources for local authors, and e-commerce capabilities to include the sale of physical books as well as Google eBooks.
